Our Church Family

Pastor Jim began his ministry at St. Paul's in 2013. Jim has been serving in Ministry for 20+ years and he specializes in life application of the Bible. Jim focuses his preaching on teachings of Jesus and God's Word, and how to apply those teachings to real life situations. He seeks to help all to enjoy a closer relationship with Jesus Christ as we share God's love with each other. Jim's previous experience includes serving as a Lead Pastor and other pastoral positions in suburban churches in the Philadelphia and Allentown areas, and also having served for a number of years in Tamaqua, PA.

He is a graduate of the UMC Licensing School and his educational background also includes a B.S. in Education and an M.E. in Administration. He has also completed study tracts at Moravian Theological Seminary, Evangelical Theological Seminary, and Lancaster Theological Seminary. Pastor Jim is married to Janice and has two adult children, two adult step-children, and six grandchildren. He enjoys wood working, and he is also a competition archer. He and Janice like to travel and they enjoy spending family time with their dog, Molly McGuire.
